Assessment

Reaching Band C or above is a predictable outcome

The RdSAP methodology is largely deterministic — if you know what the assessor will record, you know what the rating will be before the survey takes place.

The route is the same for every property: read the existing certificate, validate what is recorded, identify what will move the rating, model it before spending anything, then implement with evidence in hand. Working through that sequence with a qualified assessor removes the uncertainty and prevents money being spent on the wrong measures.

The eight-step route

This RdSAP route map for landlords shows exactly how to reach Band C from any starting point. Begin with an accurate EPC baseline.
